Luxmithar has reached v1.0.0.

This release is focused on the full game flow: start a run, gather resources, expand the energy grid, build defenses, unlock permanent progression in the Nexus, and push deeper into stronger enemy pressure.

What kind of game is it?

  • A survival crafting and defense game where every run asks you to balance exploration, harvesting, building, and combat.

  • By day, you gather materials, craft equipment, expand the grid, and prepare your defenses.

  • As pressure rises, enemy waves test your weapons, towers, walls, support structures, and resource planning.

  • Between runs, the Nexus lets you convert progress into permanent upgrades, RAM loadouts, weapon unlocks, and long-term build decisions.

Content in v1.0.0

  • 8 enemy profiles in the Creature Ledger, covering early threats, specialized hostiles, and tougher encounters.

  • 7 weapons across sidearms, rifles, rapid-fire options, heavy ordnance, and advanced late-run tech.

  • 15+ buildable or utility structures, including damage towers, support towers, walls, gates, grid tools, light sources, and defensive utility pieces.

  • Harvesting, crafting, inventory management, weapon crafting, building placement, structure upgrades, and grid expansion.

  • A permanent progression Nexus with upgrade nodes, RAM-style loadouts, weapon branches, and post-run rewards.

  • A Creature Ledger system that tracks enemy samples, weaknesses, combat notes, and enemy-specific Doctrine Bonus choices.

  • Difficulty settings, save slots, continue-run flow, run history, patch notes, bug reporting, and Steam leaderboard support.

  • Multiple language options and release-focused save/export cleanup.

Game Flow

  • Launch a run from a save slot and pick the setup that fits your goal.

  • Harvest early resources and craft tools, weapons, and infrastructure.

  • Expand the grid to claim more space and route power to key defenses.

  • Survive escalating enemy pressure while improving your weapon, attributes, passives, grid control, and base layout.

  • Bank progress, return to the Nexus, tune your permanent build, and start the next run stronger.

v1.0.0 Release Cleanup

  • The old Archive presentation has been reduced to the Creature Ledger so enemy knowledge is easier to understand and use.

  • Doctrine Bonuses now vary by enemy instead of every enemy sharing the same choices.

  • Save and meta-progression writes are safer during autosaves.

  • Development-only helpers and test content are excluded from release exports.

  • Patch notes now render cleanly in-game.

Thank you for playing and for helping Luxmithar reach 1.0.0.
