fixedFor the ones of you that read the patch notes for version 0.92.4 you might recall I mentioned that the AI is not cheating even though a lot of you kept reporting that it heavily felt like that. Well, turns out you were right and due to the user Arcadius performing a deep dive into the data in one of his save files, it lead me to the cause of the issue which was that in AI vs AI matches, the dead gladiators' equipment would get duplicated and they would then sell these duplicates at the market earning them much more denarii than they should have - Great work there and happy this got fixed!
fixedFixed AI clubs incorrectly receiving duplicate equipment from dead gladiators
changedAdded Multiplayer support for saving each client’s previously controlled ludus, allowing them to immediately resume control when rejoining an existing save. For existing saves, this will take effect after the next autosave
fixedFixed an issue that could cause desyncs when returning to the Main Hub in long-running multiplayer games
addedAdded that Roster sorting will now carry over to the Pregame Selection scene

Salvēte Lanistas!

A couple of hours ago a new all-time peak of 748 concurrent players was achieved. Amazing to see so many of you around in the stands!

For the ones of you that read the patch notes for version 0.92.4 you might recall I mentioned that the AI is not cheating even though a lot of you kept reporting that it heavily felt like that.

Here's the full patch notes:

  • Fixed AI clubs incorrectly receiving duplicate equipment from dead gladiators

  • Added Multiplayer support for saving each client’s previously controlled ludus, allowing them to immediately resume control when rejoining an existing save. For existing saves, this will take effect after the next autosave

  • Fixed an issue that could cause desyncs when returning to the Main Hub in long-running multiplayer games

  • Added that Roster sorting will now carry over to the Pregame Selection scene

  • Fixed Gladiator combat sounds not respecting the SFX volume slider

  • Added an attack cooldown for unarmed Gladiators to prevent them from stun-locking opponents

As always thank you so much for the continued support, it is truly appreciated and encouraging! Mathias
