changedHowever, we have an update regarding our launch that is very difficult for us to share. After working through the final stages of development, we will be releasing an English-only version for the initial release.
changedAs a team from Singapore, with Chinese as our mother tongue, it was always our goal to launch with a Chinese version alongside English, especially for our initial release. To share this news now is truly heartbreaking for us. We spent a great deal of time trying to make a multi-language release work, but due to a combination of factors, we ultimately had to make the difficult decision to move forward with a single-language launch. This was not the outcome we worked towards, nor one that we wanted, and it is deeply disappointing for us to share this news. We sincerely apologize to all our players who were looking forward to a multi-language release; we are truly sorry for not being able to meet those expectations at this time.
changedAlthough the initial release will only support English for now, the performance on May 20th is crucial for the future plans of Lovers Enigma. To be honest, given our currently limited resources, we sincerely hope this launch achieves an ideal result. If the game demonstrates sufficient market interest and player demand during the initial release, we will have a stronger basis to secure resources for official localization and, in the future, have the opportunity to officially begin production of Chinese and other language versions. We are sharing this situation with you in the hope of openly discussing our plans for the game’s future.
addedMoving forward, to ensure the best possible experience on launch day, we are focusing all our energy on final refinements. As a sincere gesture to our community, we are adding a few new CGs and an extra layer of polish across the game to make the story as immersive as possible.
changedWhile we cannot confirm additional language support at this time, it is something we hope to revisit in the future if circumstances allow.
