Hello! And thank you for playing the demo!
A major update for our Steam Next Fest demo is out now! Dive in and check out the new changes!
Changes:
Improved NPC behavior: enemies/minions now select targets more intelligently in combat
Added Pylon upgrade system (not available in the demo): upgrading a Pylon increases infection radius, enhances area-based bonuses, and improves durability
Increased attack speed for many weapon types
Improved blocking mechanics in combat
Added UI feedback when abilities are used for better responsiveness
Reworked minion control system
Reworked tutorial
Abilities now have multiple upgrade levels
Improved UI in the talent window
Added and tuned various sound effects
Updated fonts
Redesigned starting map with a large number of new points of interest
New enemy types
Added a new equipment type: Jewelry (rings, amulets)
Added many new talents to learn (additional abilities and passive skills)
Minions and enemies can now communicate with each other!
Various bug fixes
Text and localization fixes
Development Progress
We are continuing to work on our next biome, the Swamps. At the same time, we've made substantial improvements to the starting area, adding new points of interest, events, enemy patrol routes, and loot.
