fixedReleaseVery soon after came in some bugs related to achievements which we promptly fixed, and after that, a major bug as Windows 7 users could not get past the main menu. This is our fault as we don't actually have access to a Windows 7 machine and just assumed it worked because of Unity.
addedLeading up to releaseThere was a bit of a rough time as we were constantly working up to the release hour. Just a day before release we found out a major bug that was making the game unplayable and we even considered doing a last minute delay. In the end it wasn't needed as we managed to fix that bug and some others :) The music and extra sound effects were added on the release day, that's how close we were.

changedController supportThis one was actually planned for release but we didn't manage to do it as our programmer doesn't actually have a controller so that he can test with ːlunar2019piginablanketː So, we're looking to fix that.

Release

So, the game released nearly a week ago. First of all, thank you to everyone that has played it! The release went more or less how we expected and we're quite happy with it.

Very soon after came in some bugs related to achievements which we promptly fixed, and after that, a major bug as Windows 7 users could not get past the main menu. This is our fault as we don't actually have access to a Windows 7 machine and just assumed it worked because of Unity.

Leading up to release

There was a bit of a rough time as we were constantly working up to the release hour. Just a day before release we found out a major bug that was making the game unplayable and we even considered doing a last minute delay. In the end it wasn't needed as we managed to fix that bug and some others :) The music and extra sound effects were added on the release day, that's how close we were.

About that achievement...

One of our achievements

Bullet Train

.. We admit we didn't actually test it to know if it was possible to earn it. As it turns out, either it was REALLY hard or literally impossible to earn it. We looked around what to do as changing an achievement requirement after launch doesn't seem so good. Thing is we weren't even sure if anyone had managed to unlock it legitimately, so we ended up changing the requirement before too long. And since then we can confirm that it is indeed possible :)

What's on the horizon?

We took a bit of a break after the release regarding working on new features. We've been discussing on what to add, and here's some of our ideas.

Difficulty levels

Allow you to choose between Easy, Normal or Hard.

Speedrunning Mode

This one is mostly for our amusement as we jokingly say we'd like to see a speedrun of Loopomotive, and one way to make that more likely to happen is to add a speedrunning mode.

Controller support

This one was actually planned for release but we didn't manage to do it as our programmer doesn't actually have a controller so that he can test with ːlunar2019piginablanketː So, we're looking to fix that.

Others

If you have any wishes or ideas, do let us know so we can at least consider them.
