Hey folks
This week was absolutely wild.
Here’s what I’ve been hacking away at 👇
Mount System Got Smarter
Finally nailed down a few old mount bugs — and added Auto-Sprint!
That little brain icon on the wasteland wolf’s head? Yeah, that’s your cue — the wolf thinks for you now 😎
You can ride hands-free and go full chaos mode with bows, rifles, or even a handheld cannon. Yes, I will show you in the next short clip.
Pet System 2.0
The pet system just leveled up big time.
Your buddy can now attack enemies, but has stamina and limited actions, so it actually feels alive. Also… you can pet them now.
Because obviously, priorities. 🐾
Inventory Sync
Tied the inventory and pet systems together .
Map Tweaks
Fixed a bunch of rough map edges and a few sneaky geometry gaps.
Boss Rework
Rebalanced one of the major bosses — especially its ranged attacks. Still testing the sweet spot between “epic” and “why would you do this to me”.
It’s getting there.
Smarter NPC Allies
This one’s huge — friendly NPCs are way sharper now. They react faster, flank better, and actually save your butt sometimes.
Now I’m wondering if I need to buff the bosses again just to keep things fair 😅
Polish & Progress
Lots of under-the-hood tuning, bug killing, and stability improvements.
Every fix gets us a step closer to the Demo — and honestly, it’s feeling more alive each day.
Can’t believe how much has changed in just a week. Next up: balance passes, more creature AI tweaks, and probably less sleep.
