Item Changes
Additions:
Fish Paste - A refined portion of fish, larger fish award greater amounts of paste.
Fishy Stew - Turns fish paste into a better source of food.
Clam Stew - Further increases the potency of cooked clams.
Updates:
All Fish - Overall healing / stamina / use times have been reduced to reward players for processing their caught fish.
Station Changes
Additions:
Cooking Pot - Further integration of 'Tier 3' food stuffs, with the addition of Fishy Stew and Clam Stews. Both Fishy Stew and Clam Stew can now be crafted at the Cooking Pot.
Campfire - Can craft Cooked Clams from Twigs and Clam Meat.
Crusher - Can craft Fish Paste from all Fish. Larger fish yield more paste as stated above.
Examples:
Lake Bass -> 3x Fish Paste
Grove Perch -> 1x Fish Paste
Recipe Changes
Updates:
Slime Leather - Base crafting duration increased from 5 seconds to 15 seconds.
Bat Leather - Base crafting duration increased from 5 seconds to 15 seconds.
These items are relatively low consumption and their adjustment is mainly to prevent accidental crafting.
UI & UX Changes
Updates:
Fixed heartbeat animation to a per game time update rather than per frame update.
Resizing options, some UI objects were not adjusting the correct way (shrinking to fit, expanding to fit etc.) Should lead to less squinting at the options menu.
Fixed window setting persistence when coming back to the main menu.
Added options to toggle between different window screen modes (Fullscreen, Borderless Fullscreen, and Windowed).
These changes may affect returning players as these stored values will default to Fullscreen, this can be particularly cumbersome if your resolution is lower as this will affect the visibility of text.
Full Release Preparation
As stated in the latest announcement, this will be the last of the normal updates coming to the Demo aside from bug fixes or other minor tweaks. The main focus will be preparing for full release going forward.
I have utilized the Demo as a test bed for core parts of the gameplay loop and made the deliberate decision to not release into early access, let alone charge for what I would consider non-early access prices seen elsewhere in the market.
As development progresses on the core game, periodic updates will be provided leading up to, and prior to the official launch.
