Adventure Mode has Arrived!

Adventure Mode is available for play as of today. We've taken our core gameplay loop of the tactical battles within the game and implemented them in a new way.

addedWe've taken our core gameplay loop of the tactical battles within the game and implemented them in a new way. Now instead of playing through a Story Mode or solving difficult fights in Tactician Mode, you'll be expected to recruit and manage a team of adventurers as you play.
addedYou'll start a run with only three characters with random abilities. You can re-roll these as much as you'd like to start with a team you feel comfortable with. You are then introduced to some minor tutorials guiding you through your first few moves in the game. One of these is the introduction to a brand new mechanic unique to this mode, gold. You earn gold by winning battles. That's the easy part. Now you need to manage how you spend your gold. As you visit villages you wills top at the pub. Here you can access their services. These include:
addedHealing your characters and removing injuries. - Recruiting a new character to your party. - Buying items. - Swapping abilities.
addedAll of these features are unique to Adventure Mode and add an extra layer to the gameplay.
addedAdventure Mode will be the mode we introduce new content / characters / and mechanics into. It gives us a lot of flexibility. For example, we've included three secret characters the player has never been able to play as before. We also won't be revealing how to unlock them, so have fun!

With this release it puts us at 60% of the way done with Early Access. In Early Access we still have Act 2 and the Board Builder to release. When these are done our last release will be Act 3. With Act 3 being released we will transition to the 1.0 version of the game. We estimate this to be done in the first half of next year. Meaning we will have spent less than a year in total in Early Access.
