addedI mentioned this in the last development blog, but I just wanted to reiterate why this new UI was created in the first place.
addedEver since the Winter 2020 update we felt that the game had strayed further away from being minimalist, more so than from before the update. Overall we had felt that the current UI was a bit too crowded, too noisy, and a bit too complex. This new UI is our attempt to bring the game to a much more minimalist state.
addedThe both of us are in favor of moving the game towards this new UI, however we want to hear from all of you as well. Ever since we started Early Access we knew community involvement would only improve the game as a whole; all of you who have given us feedback and suggestions so far are living proof of that. We would like you all to vote on whether or not you prefer this new UI compared to the current one; choose the direction that you want Linklight to take.
