About FPS Changes in Version 1.51

In version 1.51, an issue was fixed where the actual rendering resolution was lower than the resolution shown in the settings. As a result, even with the same graphics settings, the number of rendered pixels is now higher than in previous versions, which may lead to lower FPS.

To compensate for this, the default Screen Percentage in the Performance preset has been reduced by approximately 10. With a fresh installation, the perceived performance should be similar to previous versions. However, if you keep the same Screen Percentage as before, you may experience a decrease in FPS.

In addition, between versions 1.40 and 1.50, there was a DPI-related issue where a resolution shown as 3860p was actually rendered at approximately 2440p. This issue has now been corrected, and since the GPU is processing a significantly larger number of pixels, some level of performance decrease is unavoidable.

If you lower the Screen Percentage until you reach the same FPS as before, you should be able to maintain image quality that is equal to or better than previous versions.
