Life of an NPC changes
Notice: Old saves may break as a result of this update. If you must play an old save which is broken, please switch to the "Older Build" beta channel in the Steam settings for this game.
Gameplay
Added create new NPC view, subject to the maximum NPCs limit (currently 7)
Added logic to spawn initial NPCs with initial items
- Added the following functionality for clicked NPCDelete long-term memory, delete short-term memory, delete agenda item, add/remove/edit item, regenerate item image, remove status effect, add short-term memory, add new prioritized task, rewrite entire agenda with instructions
Added ability for player to use in-place action when overriding an NPC’s current action
Added local image gen support for ComfyUI and a1111 API
UI
Fixed emojis sometimes not showing correctly
Changed the name of “OpenAI API” to “Local/Custom (OpenAI API)” because some people didn’t know what it was
Added camera panning with the mouse when holding right click
Added mouse zooming logic which anchors the zoom to the point of the cursor
Added tips as clickable question marks in the log, clicked NPC view, and create NPC / Static Object views
Fixed clicked NPC view not refreshing when survival bar value changed
Added ability for player to edit location name
Misc
Added tolerance for parsing corpses in case AI specifies a dead NPC without using the word corpse
Added tolerance for parsing quoted names in case AI specifies an NPC by their nickname
Fixed OpenAI API error when auto-generating world background
