Hey everyone, Thanks again for all the feedback you left so far. I've been amazed by the response to the game, and I'm truly grateful for your help! I wanted to push a little update before the end of the playtest.

I wanted to push a little update before the end of the playtest. You can read the patch note below, there are some interesting changes. This update is lighter has I'm working a lot on my other game Hyperslice to prepare for release.

The playtest will run until Monday, December 22, so give it a go if you didn't have time already!

What's next?

I'm closing the playtest to fix the bugs and improve the game, and I hope to run another small playtest towards the end of the year/beginning of 2026 before I publish the demo.

I'm also going to gather the data en make a small "post-mortem" about this playtest, I'll share it here too.

Patch note - v0.0.13_playtest

Additions

  • Tooltip with definition for complex words like anadrome or palindrome

  • UI to query word definition in the pause menu

  • Unique icons for consumables

Modification

  • Reroll button is eenabled as long as you have money instead of being disabled after one use

  • Reroll now prioritizes upgrades and consumables that have not been drawn in this shop instance

  • Rework how the & special letter works. It now sseparates the 2 words and apply the upgrades on each separately.

Bugs

  • Fix: arrows on upgrades was displayed weird in win screen

  • Fix: can continue typing with keyboard after scoring starts

  • Fix: keyboard typing selects letter in the for later even when closed
