Repeated intro

Hello Chefs! Let's Cook Together is not only about the game. It's mainly about spending time with your loved ones. We strongly encourage you all to actually cook together as much as possible. To be a shining example here I am playing the analog version of Let's Cook Together with my kids:

What changed

2 fixes3 additions2 changes1 removal
  • Gameplay
  • Fixes
  • UI and audio
addedWe now have a super cool (and short) story intro in our game. You can see it here:
addedLucy introduced a ton of level design changes to the Pancake Splash to make it more balanced in terms of left-right player workload and also a little more dynamic during the first weeks in terms of new dishes introduction. We would really like your input on how you feel this restaurant plays out.
addedIntroduced dynamic vSync to remove tearing in the menu. In short - vSync is turned on in the menu and off during normal gameplay. I'm pretty satisfied with that as it makes the menu effects look super sharp while keeping uncapped framerates for the actual gameplay. Yay! :)
changedWe have tweaked collision detection a bit so that the chefs don't go too much into walls.
fixedFixed an error in the Pancake Splash which occurred when there were 1 topping dispenser and 2 levers in the level. The wires should also be colored properly now.
changedAnother set of typos squashed.

List of changes This week brings quite a few changes to LCT (game):

  • We now have a super cool (and short) story intro in our game. You can see it here:

  • Lucy introduced a ton of level design changes to the Pancake Splash to make it more balanced in terms of left-right player workload and also a little more dynamic during the first weeks in terms of new dishes introduction. We would really like your input on how you feel this restaurant plays out.

  • Introduced dynamic vSync to remove tearing in the menu. In short - vSync is turned on in the menu and off during normal gameplay. I'm pretty satisfied with that as it makes the menu effects look super sharp while keeping uncapped framerates for the actual gameplay. Yay! :)

  • Cookbook graphics for all muffins now look much better.

  • We have tweaked collision detection a bit so that the chefs don't go too much into walls.

  • Fixed an error in the Pancake Splash which occurred when there were 1 topping dispenser and 2 levers in the level. The wires should also be colored properly now.

  • Slight change in the logic for the shake maker in the Pancake Splash. This was proposed by our QA tester Ania (awesome of course). Instead of making "the switcheroo" of ingredients when approached with full hands, it will first try to give the ingredient to the chef. We felt this ultimately makes more sense in this case. For TL;DR see this short video:

  • Another set of typos squashed.

  • Disconnecting a gamepad during gameplay should now no longer cause issues.

  • New dishes in level presentation (the one at the start of many levels) was fixed to show proper dishes.

We are open to all suggestions - please feel free to reach out to us in the discussion board.
