Hello, our old friends/Legendary Tales fans. In the last announcement, I have promised you that I will make another announcement in Feb 2024. Well, I have to break the promise. instead, I give you announcement earlier. So, what it is about today?

Today, I am thrilled to tell you that Legendary Tales is finally going to leave Early Access(EA) and we are going to release 1.0 soon™

soon™ again? No, Today I can give you the time! So, when? Feb 8, 2024! Yes! It is just a little bit more than a week from this announcement.

As I promised you guys long time ago, I want to explain journey of Legendary Tales development. (If you don’t want to waste your time our diary, then skip and scroll down to 1.0 update list)

1. Broken dream?

It was Dec 2021, after Magic and skill tree update, I really wanted to make Legendary Tales as bigger project than what we had that time because I had a goal and a dream before EA releases. But as everyone know we didn’t sell that well… because all VR market was looking at modding supported VR game only and many of people didn’t want to support actual VR games that is built as pure VR game from the ground, like LT. On top of that we were denied by Meta many times already. I felt we don’t have future so, I was shaking with fear that I might need to shrink 90% of future plan I had.

2. Maybe…? Faith in dream

It was Jan 2022, after holiday, some of Youtubers covered LT on their channel. There was sudden spike of sales and it surprised me. It was still not enough to cover the future plan of development, but I could see maybe…? Then PSVR2 was announced… Feb 2022, I contacted to PlayStation in Korea, with a hope that they might interested in Legendary Tales. It was right call, SIEK said absolutely they want to bring it into PSVR2. That moment, I could see the possibility… and they said they will give us Dev Kit when it is available before PSVR2 releases. When I heard that, I could see the light, my dream, our team’s dream can be true. I have decided to push as much as possible, bet on the future again. I started to carve the Legendary Tales 1.0 in my head. It couldn’t be the same size have dreamed, but I really wanted to push to the limit with the resources that what I have.
