Legendarium Online changes
Combat reworked: Hold-to-attack implementation. Now you need to hold the attack hotkey and release button when you want the swing landing.
Getting hit from all sources will interrupt the holding process of your attack.
Only "damaging part" of your weapon does damage. Example: The wooden part of a spear would not cause damage, but if the iron tip strikes the target, it would trigger harm to the target.
If you hold an attack longer - you hit harder (with maximum limit per weapon type and Dexterity stat). No GUI tooltip, but player makes relevant sound if hit executed on its maximum hold power.
You lose Stamina while holding an attack, preventing player constantly stay in attacking state. Heavier weapons consumes more Stamina.
New hotkey added that would cancel your attack without losing Stamina and instant animation. That would allow you change the direction of your next attack that increases overall combat potential.
If your hit got parried/deflected/blocked, then you get some quick animation penalty, but enough time for opponent to retaliate.
Items durability implemented. Now when you use an item - it will be loosing it's durability and eventually become unusable/unequipable unless repaired. Destroyable items help a lot to keep the economic up and make Crafter's life reacher!
There are few durability states now: Pristine, Worn, Damaged, Ruined.
"Ruined" items cannot be used in any way.
If the item got ruined while equipped - it will be automatically unequipped to the inventory. If no slots available - it will be dropped on the ground.
Currently you can repair any metal item (Weapons, armor, etc that made of metal) using the Blacksmithing skill. Repair cost is just 1 ingot of the metal that item made of. During repair, based on the Blacksmithing skill level - there is a chance to completely destroy an item.
"Damaged" weapons do reduced damage.
Now NPCs drop "Damaged/Worn" items more often than "Pristine".
While crafting an item, you always get "Pristine" durability.
Smelting "Ruined" item brings as same amount of ingots as "Pristine", etc.
All the items have different level of total durability capacity.
Weapons lose extra durability when colliding with other weapons. Stronger/heavier weapon takes less durability loss.
Any peace of equipment (shields, armors, weapons, etc) may be one-shot destroyed, if hit by enormous damage (Don't try using low tier shield to block a hit from Mountain Troll or Balrog, etc..).
Armor (protection value) of an item - reduces durability loss. That makes higher tier metals more durable.
