Lazy Witch's Factory changes
Factory Managers, sorry to keep you waiting!
The demo for Lazy Witch’s Factory is back on the store page!
The latest version is Ver. 0.20.0. If it still shows as Ver. 0.19.0, restarting Steam should update it to the latest version.
Availability Period
Available today through just before Early Access begins
We’ve determined that separating content between the demo and the full version would incur significant costs, so we’ve decided to suspend the demo to prioritize improving the quality of the Early Access version.
The exact date and time of the release suspension will be adjusted to coincide with the Early Access release. We will announce this at a later date.
Content Adjustments
- Playable DifficultyReduced from Hell 3 to Hell 1
- Unlockable RewardsAdjusted so that clearing Hell 1 isn’t made too easy
Version 0.19.0 offered approximately 20 hours of gameplay in the demo, effectively providing a full-fledged product for free. If we continued to offer it as is, players might think, “I’ve already played the demo to death…” and refrain from purchasing the full version. Although it pains us to do so, we have restricted the scope of the release.
Please note that the estimated playtime to clear Hell 1 is approximately 5 hours.
In lieu of limiting the amount of content, we have included various features in the demo version, including improvements to usability.
Please see below.
Implementation of the New “Statistics” Feature
You can now check your factory’s resource balance and income breakdown.
You can open this screen using the “V” shortcut key or the button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Results Screen Revamp
You can now view “Statistics” and “Contract History” from the Results screen
Factory Layout Quality of Life Improvements
We’ve made changes to improve the convenience of line design and prevent unintended overwriting of conveyors.
Additions and Modifications to Specifications Related to Overwriting
Set so that splitters cannot be overwritten by conveyors
Set so that conveyors do not overwrite other conveyors
Added setting: “Allow conveyor overwriting by default; disable with key press” (Default: Off)

Other Meeting-Related Fixes
Added expression variations for each character (expressions in some existing episodes have also been replaced)
Improved translations for non-Japanese ADV versions
Adjusted episode numbers so they are consistent across all sponsors (excluding Gehenna)
Adjusted episode display order
Set unlock conditions for each episode
Contract Adjustments
Balance adjustments were made based on feedback collected from the demo version.
All Contracts with “Rare” Rarity
Reusable -> Not Reusable
Given that keeping all Rare or higher contracts that appear has become the optimal strategy in many games, thereby reducing the diversity of playstyles, we addressed this by limiting the number of times a contract can be obtained.
We expect this to make it easier for players to experience the thrill of securing victory by adapting to the specific conditions of each playthrough, such as the distribution of Uncommon or lower Contracts, Portals, and Orders.
Contract “Origin Labeling”
Effect +2 -> +1
Contract “Make It Carefully”
Rarity: Common -> Uncommon
Contract: “Placebo”
Additional targets for effect: Cobalt, Alkaline Crystals
Contract: “Brilliant Hit”
Cannot be reused -> Can be reused
Contract: “100% Additives”
Can be reused -> Not possible
Contract “Lightest Metal”
Number of Gems Required: 100 each -> 25 each
“Common” Rarity Staff Skill Contracts
Cannot be reused
