We are very excited to share our first developer notes.

We plan to continually share development details and update news with you in the future.

In these developer notes, we will introduce new content added through recent development.

  • Floating Island - Desert Biome Addition

This is an environment where player choices and preparation directly impact the outcome.

We designed it so that even with the same character, depending on the equipment chosen and resources utilized, a completely different gameplay flow will emerge.

In this environment, we focused on expanding the standards of survival.

Moving away from traditional health-centric management, we structured it so that the process of accepting the environment itself as a variable and adapting to it flows naturally.

Going forward, we are designing each biome to create an experience that changes the playstyle in a way that suits its environment.

  • Floating Island - Grassland and Desert Areas, New Pets Addition

Through pets with roles and characteristics tailored to the environment, we are structuring the game to expand your choices in exploration and combat.

We are focusing on enhancing pet utility so that it directly impacts your playstyle.

  • Technical Achievement: In-House Global Streaming Terrain Engine

To create an environment where you can seamlessly explore anywhere in the world, our team has built a proprietary terrain rendering engine that overcomes the limitations of existing commercial engines.

Global-Scale Data Processing: We have completed an exclusive pipeline that optimizes and streams terabytes of actual Earth elevation data in real time. Through this, we have achieved a recreation of real terrain contours with near 1:1 precision, from the rugged ridges of Everest to the gentle sand dunes of the desert.

Infinite Streaming Optimization: Through our proprietary algorithm that generates and destroys terrain meshes in real time based on player movement, we provide a seamless environment where you can explore the vastness of the entire globe without loading screens.

  • Refining Exploration: In-House Server-Based Real-Time Minimap System

Alongside the terrain engine, we have also built our own backend system to process the immense amount of information occurring upon it in real time.

Proprietary Indexing Server: It indexes the locations of gates, treasure chests, and named monsters appearing on a global scale in real time and projects them onto the minimap. This allows us to share information from tens of thousands of players without delay while simultaneously reducing the load on the client.

We have significantly enhanced the minimap functionality so that players do not get lost and can clearly identify their destinations in a vast map based on real Earth data.

Intuitive Markers & Labeling: We have designed the system to instantly display precise tier information calculated by the server on the minimap, such as [Tier L Gate] or [Lv.24 Zephyron], so you can intuitively assess risks and rewards during exploration.

  • Territory Expansion: Base Occupation and Player Identification System Addition

The 'base occupation system', built upon our in-house terrain engine, now goes beyond simple construction to become a means of imprinting the player's presence on the world.

Securing a specific point in an open world based on the Earth map holds value far beyond mere survival. Now, players can claim their own bases and make their presence known to the world.

World Profile UI: The player's nickname and status message displayed above the base are synchronized in real time with players worldwide through the server, further solidifying the community on the stage called Earth.

Terrain-Hugging Overlay: Through a color grid system that perfectly follows the contours of our in-house terrain mesh, the occupied area is visually and clearly indicated.

  • Addition of 10 Hairstyles Each for Men and Women

We have expanded the range of choices so that players can express their characters in more diverse ways.
