In this Developer Note, we would like to introduce our work on the skill animations for the Sky Island Boss Monsters.
We are focusing our work on the movements and effect expressions when skills are used, so that the atmosphere and characteristics of each boss can be naturally revealed even during combat.
Boss Skill Animations by Sky Island Biome
We are working on skill animations so that the characteristics of each boss monster can be more clearly conveyed in combat situations.
In this work, we are focusing on the impact, effect range, and flow of movement when a skill is used, and we are setting the direction so that each boss's individuality can be distinguished within the battle.
We are adjusting the visual reactions and movements at the moment of an attack so that they connect naturally, aiming for a presentation that allows players to intuitively feel the threat of the boss.
In this developer note, we are also sharing some of the representative skill animations for each boss.
