Major update of the demo version: Voice acting, animations, bugs

Dear ladies and gentlemen, members of the Supreme Collegium!

I have amazing news for you

The Laws of Nadragia will have partial character voiceover!

Yes-yes, you heard it right

Each character now has a large set of lines and emotions to accompany his speech.

For this, 9 different speakers in Russian and English were involved in order to show the character and mood of the characters as amazingly and authentically as possible. The voice acting has been going on in parallel with the development of the game over the past 8 months and, hopefully, will add even more drama to the court cases!

The demo version update

I have updated the demo version and all the characters in the new demo version are already partially voiced. For those who haven't completed the demo version yet, now is the time to give it a try!

Below I attach an example of phrases from a pair of characters:

Other changes:

• Added extra character animations;

• Fixed bugs with saving/loading and moving the character;

• Fixed some errors in Russian and English localization;

• The font was changed to a more neat one, additional fonts were added to different parts of the interface (now it looks more diverse);

• Large backdrops were added to the interfaces of the end of the day and the approval of the newspaper;

• Slightly expanded game location (for future interactions with additional characters);

• Added new ingame sounds;

• There are also many more small improvements that I forgot to mention here ːsteammockingː

What won't be in the new demo is new court cases. All new court trials will be included in the main game, because the demo already runs for an hour, which is quite a long time (besides, you have to leave something for the main game, right?). So if you've already gone through the demo version and know the plot, you probably shouldn't try it again now. But for those who haven't tried it yet, the updated demo will be a great reason to go through it!
