Thanks to streamer/youtuber oboeshoes' recent playthrough of my game, I have a lot more playtest data to work with and can deliver my best work yet to y'all. Progress has been going smoothly, so I will be able to deliver the full release on schedule, August 1st. There will be a full announcement soon with more details.

As always I love player feedback and so if you have any thoughts or suggestion, please let me know!

Xi Update:

Added new NPCs and Enemies:

  • Tarkhan

  • Capitalist

  • The Fiend

Gameplay changes:

  • Players are granted "Perpetual Blessing" by default. Can be turned off in options. This modifier means players wont take damage until armor is depleted

  • Added equipped weapons HUD

  • Added continue screen

Added new levels:

  • Circle of hell

  • Palace brothel

  • Palace chasms

Textured areas:

  • old capital underground

  • Tenman's Palace levels

Other:

  • Changed dialogue and item locations

  • Various bug fixes

At this point most of the planned gameplay (Levels, enemies, bosses, weapons etc.) has been implemented. The next and final two updates will focus on:

  • Adding story, dialogue and cutscenes

  • Adding and polishing assets

  • New music tracks

  • More player customization

  • Adding steam achievements

  • Quality of life, gameplay and performance improvements

  • Uploading concept art
