Important Note from the Developer
First of all, thank you to everyone who has played Late Night Fears, left feedback, or supported the game in any way.
I want to be honest with you. I made several mistakes during development, and after reading your feedback, I completely understand many of the criticisms. Because of this, I have reduced the price from $8.00 to $4.75. I believe this is a fairer price for the current state of the game, and I hope it better reflects the experience you're getting today.
My goal is to continue improving the game. Future updates will focus on:
Interaction Improvements.
Improvements and additional content for The Infected Store.
Trying to implement feedback, and maybe reworking existing features.
Looking back, I also realize that I made the project far too ambitious for a solo developer. Late Night Fears became much bigger than I could realistically manage, especially while balancing development with my personal life and family responsibilities.
Even so, I hope players also recognize what is already included. The game currently offers three different maps, each with its own gameplay style, as well as local split-screen co-op, a feature that is surprisingly uncommon in indie horror games, especially at this price point.
This project has taught me an incredible amount. Because of everything I've learned, my next game will be much smaller in scope, allowing me to polish every mechanic to a much higher standard from the beginning.
I'm not giving up on Late Night Fears. I will continue improving it step by step, and I truly appreciate everyone who has given me constructive feedback instead of simply walking away.
Thank you for your patience and your support.
