changedSo the price for the game has recently been changed and will remain at this price moving forward. Don’t worry, for almost everyone it should be a lot cheaper now so if you haven’t had a chance to play the game yet this is a great opportunity to finally give it a shot. I just wanted to make a quick post and transparently explain why this change happened.
addedSo for a while I had seen that several of the reviews claimed that the game was priced a little too highly and that its sale price was a better fit. Thinking that the game was priced fairly cheaply this made me take a look at the pricing chart to try and figure out what was happening. Once there I saw that Steam had recently released a new set of creator tools that better matches the price you set to other currencies. With this I could clearly see that the game was costing substantially more than it should in a lot of regions and quite a bit less in 1 or 2 others.
addedThis should hopefully be rectified now and the game should cost (roughly) the same in all regions moving forward. And to make sure the price wasn’t being jacked up on everyone, I decided to set the new price to be more in line with the cheaper regions.
