Ahoy!

Quick one today. No huge announcement, no fresh trailer, no shiny roadmap reveal. Just us checking in from the deck, looking at the map, and asking the only question that matters right now: what's next, captain? Pull up a barrel.

The Demo is still out, in case you blinked

It went out yesterday and the doors are still wide open. If you missed the full launch post with the new trailer and screenshots, we made noise about it over here. Already played? Tell us what wrecked you first. Shark? Old pirate? Your own crew?

50,000 of you. We are not over it

Fifty. THOUSAND. Wishlists. People who looked at a game about pirates losing their booty to monsters and said "yeah, that one is for me." We don't have words big enough, so we'll keep it simple: thank you! This ship moves because you push the wind into the sails.

What's next? Steam Next Fest

This is the big one. Steam Next Fest is the festival for indie devs across the whole planet, and yes, we will be in it. For us this is one of the most important weeks of the year. The most useful thing you can do is jump into the Demo during the festival, leave a quick thought, and pull one friend in with you. That is the whole magic.

Got questions? We pinned some answers

There's now an official FAQ on Steam discussions. Release timing, platforms, co-op, what's in the Demo and what isn't. If your question isn't there, drop it in the comments or ping us on Discord.

A look back at the playtests

Before the Demo, you carried us through two of them. The Closed Playtest ran quietly inside our Discord with 100+ pirates breaking things on purpose. The Open Playtest went louder: 180 of you online at peak, over 4,500 across two days, and a feedback channel that didn't sleep. A lot of what shipped in the Demo is shaped directly by what you yelled at us about.

Fair winds, captain

That's it for this mini-DevLog. The Demo is on Steam, the FAQ is pinned, and the loudest pirates live in our Discord and over on X. Come say hi. Bring snacks.

And one last thing, captain. Hold your map the right way up. We're not.
