Greetings, Nomads! Season 6 Chapter 2 is live now! Most of the changes have been posted before and have been on the PTR for awhile, but the full comprehensive changelog with all changes since Chapter 1 is below. Our major focus for Chapter 2 has been bug fixing, polishing, balancing, and a bit more QoL.

Chapter 2 - Changelog 45354 World & Environment

  • Added rupu vines to all canyon rupu camps

  • Added toxic water lakes and cattail to Kali Spires

  • Made Ancient Windmills spawn randomly and continuously during Ancient City events

  • Added no-build area around Ancient Windmills

  • Added no-build radius to Totem of Power and parkour POIs

  • Added no build area around the Module Fabricator

  • Removed fake loot bag meshes from Nurr Lair camps

  • Fixed eruptions producing infinite obsidian rocks

  • Fixed Ancient Windmills showing incorrect HP

  • Fixed Ancient Windmills opening with very low tension

  • Optimized volcano lava planes

  • Reduced quantity of Ancient Tower loot

Combat & PvP

  • Fixed Slingshot not contributing to combat timers

  • Reduced damage required to add 1 second to the combat timer from 25 to 20

  • Added combat cooldown multiplier to fire arrows (5s combat timer for 20 damage)

  • Fixed PvP cooldown not displaying when hitting walker legs or wings

  • Reduced max walker combat cooldown to 10 minutes

  • Increased AOE self-damage from 1 to 20 per damage tick

  • Boosted Worm damage against medium and hard armor

  • Reduced bolts damage vs Reduction armor to 90% and vs Absorbing armor to 40%, reduced player damage by 25%

  • Increased Scattershot rotation rate

  • Increased Scattershot damage against higher-tier armor

  • Reduced Gunpod Ballista firing rate

  • Set firebolt speed threshold to 1 cm/s and allowed them to damage walkers without legs

  • Fixed player manning the Spider Ballista being unhittable

  • Fixed edge weapons clipping into bases

  • Fixed players dying while manning destroyed structures

  • Fixed animation bug when manning structures

  • Reduced Rupu Turret upkeep by 50%

  • Increased Rupu Turret activation timer to 10 minutes

  • Set Automaton weight to 500kg

Walker Combat, Rebuild & Mobility

Walker Rebuild Overhaul

  • Wings and legs now have independent fixed 3-minute rebuild timers

  • Wings and legs can be replaced after their timer expires regardless of combat timer

  • Replacement wing/leg HP now scales with walker hull HP:

    • 100% hull HP = 100% replacement HP

    • 75% hull HP = 50% replacement HP

    • At 50% hull HP, wings and legs cannot be replaced until the hull is fully repaired

  • Fixed Proxy and Cobra walkers becoming stuck after entering static mode

  • Disabled Battlefan on walkers without legs

  • Disabled explosions damaging heavily damaged walkers

  • Reduced asteroid impulse against walkers

  • Fixed various foliage collisions causing walkers to flip

  • Reduced Gogo and Lazaward collision impact force

  • Fixed Heavy Leg collisions being too large

  • Fixed Falco player collision to improve climbing along edges

  • Balance pass on Toboggan, Buffalo, Hornet, and Falco rigs, speed, handling, and weight

  • Significantly increased Capital Walker leg HP

  • Adjusted Nomad Walker upgrade and T1 leg costs

  • Reduced Dinghy max crew to 4, Mollusk to 3, and Toboggan to 5

  • Increased Rokker rotation rate

  • Enabled walker modules on Balang and Silur

  • Made gunpods packable

  • Added Large Spot to T3 Stiletto Rig

  • Added APT spot to T1 Proxy rig

  • Reduced APT level requirement to 10

  • Increased APT range

Base Building, Decay & Claiming

  • Reworked base decay to deal 2–4% of total structure HP instead of flat damage

  • Set decay grace period to 15 minutes before structures begin taking decay damage

  • Balance pass on building distance checks near friendly and enemy bases

  • Reduced Sand structure HP from 500 to 200

  • Set Sand Base Armor to Reinforced

  • Set repair cost of the Repair Hoist to 0 and reduced repair rate to 1 HP every 5 seconds

  • Reduced Maintenance Chest HP

  • Set T2/3 Maintenance Chest armor to Medium

  • Set T1 Maintenance Chest armor to Soft

  • Fixed placement collision on T1, T2, and T3 Maintenance Chests

  • Set Proxy Walker claim duration to 48 hours

  • Adjusted Fiber Glove, Rupu Fiber Glove, and Triple Stitch Boot armor values

  • Reduced fireproof module maximum reduction to 65%

  • Set Catapult armor to Medium

  • Added missing darts to Stinger and Gunpod Stinger

  • Swapped ceramic and obsidian Rok damage values and tech tree order

  • Swapped ceramic and chitin tool tiers

  • Moved Lava weapons to the Crafting Bench and added cotton to their recipe

  • Moved Iron tools to the Lathe

  • Moved all Nibiran crafting to the Smithing Station

AI, Creatures & Encounters

  • Reduced Papak roaming radius from 500m to 300m

  • Fixed Koa aggro targets and range, reduced collision force

  • Fixed Rupu aggroing players inside bases

  • Set Rupu Turrets to damage soft and medium structures

  • Fixed Rupu Turrets shooting players through wings

  • Overhauled Shaman Pit and fixed excessive loot generation

  • Reduced animal fat drops from Nurr and Lazaward by 50%

  • Reduced hide drops from Nurr and Lazaward by 50%

Resource, Crafting & Economy

  • Added rupu gel to burnable ingredients

  • Increased wood slab burn time

  • Reduced XP gained from salt crafting

  • Reduced flots gained from leveling from 31,250 to 3,000

  • Removed Cooked Corn and Apple Kambaro from the tech tree

  • Hid Packing Station from the tech tree

  • Removed Module Components from Cradle loot tables

  • Added Lightwood to Camelop recipe

  • Fixed missing Flotillan Walker Parts schematic

  • Displayed Mountable Nurr crafting everywhere

  • Fixed Buffalo and Hornet T4 upgrade materials changing incorrectly

  • Fixed Camelop liquid container and increased its capacity

  • Reduced respawn timer for iron ore and Nibiran minerals to 30m–2h

  • Moved Clay from T2 to T3 asteroids

  • Set Poaching Hut radius to 200m and limited nearby placement

Automation, Inventory & QoL

  • Implemented “Track Containers” button in the wiki to locate items in your base

  • Allowed inventory crafting to autopull resources from containers

  • Enabled resource autopulling by default

  • Removed autopulling from autocrafting stations

  • Added ability to autostack resources into containers based on existing contents

  • Added current rig name in the building screen when building on walkers

  • Removed level 15 requirement for the “Give Up” widget while downed

  • Adjusted tutorial order so Spider crafting occurs sooner

  • Disabled requiring walker part schematics to place construction sites

  • Increased obsidian container size

  • Quality Rework WIP:

    • Quality is now stored as a float

    • UI now displays the underlying average quality value

Technical Fixes & Performance

  • Various crash fixes and performance improvements

  • Fixed bug when joining private servers from the main menu

  • Fixed Fragment doubling XP when animations are interrupted

  • Fixed Lazaward continuously respawning

  • Fixed Asteroid harvestables not replicating properly

  • Fixed module crafting stations not spawning on some maps

  • Fixed scale of basket mesh

  • Fixed chair collisions allowing clipping into walkers

  • Fixed target UI displaying incorrectly in some cases

  • Fixed Scattershot MTX skins being inverted

  • Fixed Door Flag MTX

  • Fixed Tech Tree long item names for MTX masks

  • Fixed crafting category names, icons, and descriptions

  • Fixed incorrect walker health calculations and UI display

  • Moved regional prime times later in the day
