MERRY X-MAS Survivors Hey Hey Survivors Here is our first UPDATE! We have been working on a lot of things and from those things, a lot of ideas came as well for future updates. We hope to be fixing up a lot of stuff in 2021, So please give us your feedback on Discord or Twitter and let us know what you would like to see.
Achievements!
The Future of achievements In the future, we plan to add more achievements with roguelike elements to them. You unlock more items the more challenges you complete. Items you can unlock will be recipes, items, and even permanent upgrades for the Town Hall!
First Achievements Schrödinger
Find Schrödinger in the world Unlocks ???
Beaver Burger
Eat 5 steaks and 5 pieces of bread. Unlocks the Beaver Burger recipe and world spawns.
Nailed It!
Kill 10 puppets with a plank in one game. Unlocks the Plank with Nails recipe and world spawns.
Whack To The Past
Kill 10 puppets with a log in one game. Unlocks the Stick with Nails recipe and world spawns.
Getting Desperate?
Eat nothing for 7 days in a row in 1 game. Unlocks the Mystery Meat world spawns.
Survived 1 day
Survive 1 day in one game.
Survived 5 days
Survive 5 days in one game.
Survived 10 days
Survive 10 days in one game.
Running Low Empty the water well. Unlocks the Water bottle world spawns.
Food
Hunger system When you survive a night you will get a hunger counter. This counter will reduce your maximum health by 10. The hunger counters can stack and end up killing you!
Campfire The Campfire is a new utility in the town hall. To light up the campfire you will need 2 sticks and 1 box of matches. The campfire will remain lit throughout the entire day and night. After night passes the fire will go out.
Cooking With the updated hunger mechanics we've also revisited how you can fill that need. Some foods can now be cooked into improved versions providing more benefits. To cook food, the campfire needs to be lit up. Then you can interact with the cooking equipment to cook the food on there. Your cooking equipment can be upgraded using scavenged materials.
Food items Food items can have any of these 4 buffs now:
Health Buff
It can increase your maximum health for the rest of the day with X amount.
It can heal you over time.
Consuming a food with a better buff will replace your current one.
Stamina
It can increase your maximum Stamina for the rest of the day with X amount.
It can provide increased stamina regeneration for the rest of the day.
Consuming a food with a better buff will replace your current one.
Item stat changes Raw meat (New) Heals 15 health over 15 seconds. Increases max health by 15 for the rest of the day. Removes 1 hunger counter. Moderate chance of getting infected.
Potato (New) Heals 5 health over 5 seconds. Cook for 20 seconds to turn into Baked Potato Removes 1 hunger counter.
Baked potato (New) Heals 20 health over 20 seconds. Increases max health by 20 for the rest of the day. Removes 1 hunger counter.
Cooked mystery meat (New) Heals 30 health over 15 seconds. Increases max health by 30 for the rest of the day. Removes 1 hunger counter.
Crisps (New) Heals 50 health over 50 seconds. Increases max health by 50 for the rest of the day. Removes 1 hunger counter.
Muffin cake (New) Heals 20 health over 10 seconds. Increases max health by 20 for the rest of the day. Removes 1 hunger counter.
Beaver Burger (New) Heals 50 health over 25 seconds. Increases max health by 50 for the rest of the day. Removes 1 hunger counter. Can be crafted with 1 bread and 1 cooked steak after getting the achievement ''Beaver Burger''.
Bar of chocolate (New) Heals 20 health over 10 seconds. Increases max health by 20 for the rest of the day. Removes 1 hunger counter.
Instant Noodles Heals 10 health over 5 seconds. Increases max health by 10 for the rest of the day. Removes 1 hunger counter.
Bread (New) Heals 10 health over 10 seconds. Removes 1 hunger counter.
Steak Heals 35 health over 17.5 seconds. Increases max health by 35 for the rest of the day. Removes 1 hunger counter.
Mystery Meat Heals 25 health over 12.5 seconds. Increases max health by 25 for the rest of the day. Removes 1 hunger counter. Moderate chance of getting infected.
Energy Drink Removes dehydrated and thirsty. Gives a speed buff for the rest of the day. Increases stamina regeneration by 5 for the rest of the day. Increases maximum stamina by 15 for the rest of the day.
Soda (New) Removes dehydrated and thirsty. Increases stamina regeneration by 15 for the rest of the day.
Coffee Gives a speed buff for the rest of the day. Increases stamina regeneration by 20 for the rest of the day. Increases maximum stamina by 35 for the rest of the day.
Bottle of Water Removes dehydrated and thirsty. Can be used 2 times.
Character updates
Fist damage reduced. Attack Stamina Cost: from -15 to -10 No Stamina Attack Delay Multiplier: from x4 to x2.5 Block Stamina Cost: from -20 to -10 Base Line Stamina Regen: from 20/s to 10/s
World updates
Vending machines The vending machine has a more visible indication it hasn't been punched yet.
Town hall re-design The Town Hall has been re-designed for an improved look.
Indicators Added highlights to the items and loot containers. Added ghost-objects to mark available constructions. Updated indicator icons for important locations in the Town hall.
New loot distribution We have altered where loot spawns and added the new items to the loot containers.
New interior versions We have made a new interior for several houses and added them into the world.
Item Updates
Added Box of matches (New) This item will be used to light up the campfire!
Added Pieces of cloth (New) This item will be used to craft bandages.
Added Barbed wire (New) Will slow enemies slightly when entering. Will do 5 damage upon entering
Added Plank with barbed wire (New) Base damage of 50
Added Stick with barbed wire (New) Base damage of 34
Added Bear trap Will stun the enemy for 1.5 seconds. Deals 50 damage when trapped.
Added Torch (New) Weapons that will burn any enemy hurt by it. Base damage of 25 Damage overtime 25 over 5 sec Durability reduces each second when lit.
Durability
Items now have durability, meaning that over time they wear down from use and will disappear. The durability of an item has no impact on crafting or construction, so make sure your items don't break!
Bug Fixes
Bear Trap bug fixes.
Animation bug fixes.
The weapon hit detection bug fixes.
Water well ration calculation fixes.
Thirst icon bug fix.
In The Future
We plan to work on bug fixing right after this update. Furthermore, in the next update we want to focus more on combat-orientated features.
Working on how the enemies behave.
Getting more weapons in!
Work on animations to make the combat not feel repetitive.
