Ladder it Up! changes
So, here's the first major update for Ladder It Up (likely one of two), which, in addition to further balance and QoL changes, includes a rework of a specific part of the map: the bridge.
Patch notes:
Boulders changes:
Increased the speed required for boulders to push the player
Boulders that hit the player will break
Boulders will push the player further and higher
After being hit by a Boulder, the player is immune to another hit for a moment
Boulders can destroy the ladder
Other changes
Added the ability to change the over-the-shoulder camera
Improved the weight of plank ladder
Enhanced the ladder spawn zone
Changed the location of the Elder Gods summoning
Made easy mode even easier
Added arrows for selecting game modes
Minor changes to the hard difficulty level
Bridge part has been reworked
Bridge:
You might be asking: "WHYYYYYY?!" While playing, I noticed several problems with the first version. First, you encounter the new "flying islands" mechanic and immediately risk losing a significant amount of progress. That sucks. So, I've adjusted the first part of the bridge to give you space to test, check out, and learn how the "flying islands" work in peace.
Another issue I noticed in both parts featuring "flying islands" is the practical lack of ladder use. What's the point of Ladder It Up if you don't need to use the ladder and you're moving downward?
Now, at the cost of an easier introduction, I've increased the difficulty in the second part of the bridge. Enjoy your suffering climbing!
