Labyrinth Of The Demon King changes
Hi Everyone!
Work from the developer has been ongoing to address your common points of feedback, bug reports, and in general to smooth out the overall experience post-release, and as part of that we're almost ready to release update 2.
However, there's still a bit of testing to be done to ensure stability, especially since Labyrinth was a multi-platform release. We know many people are very much looking forward to this update though, so for those who want quicker access, we've made an opt-in preview branch of the game that you can try. We're aware that there's several small issues in this build, which are being fixed and pending confirmation ahead of the "final" 1.2 update.
Once all known issues have been resolved, the update will be mirrored to the main branch of the game.
Here is the changelog for update 1.2:
Changelog:
Added stash box to tea house
Added compass item to merchant’s store inventory
Adjusted all maps to be North orientated to match compass
Adjusted code for bleed and other status effects to be framerate independent
Added safe zone to HUD widget
Adjusted stairs in Nuppeppo boss room and adjusted nav mesh settings
Changed scroll bar on several widgets to better fit other HUD items
Fixed bug where headshot ranged damage modifier was used for melee weapon headshots
Fixed kicks being parryable on some weapons
Added option to toggle HUD
Added option to toggle crosshair
Added option to toggle widescreen
Added option to equip torch instead of lantern if using a 1 handed weapon
Added option to lower intensity of film grain
Added ability to remove equipped armour
Added missing teleport cutscene
Changed how stamina regeneration works
Made larva bigger and increased it's hitbox size
Fixed Nuribotoke having trouble climbing stairs
Fixed issue where NPC leaving mid conversation would leave the player stuck in dialog
Fixed missing in air animations for war axe
Fixed issue where the Jailer would T-Pose during his teaser
Lowered resolution of controller icons to fit the aesthetic better
Fixed missing translation for single slide of kings court puzzle
Changed conditions for interacting with priest after Tsuchigumo death, hopefully fixing issue where people can't interact with him
Added changes to receive damage code, hopefully fixing issue where bosses can lose too much health from a single hit
Known Issues and being fixed:
Background showing behind item placement menu in 16:9 or 16:10 aspects
Tea making ceremony aspect ratio reverts back to 4:3 aspect if game is set to 16:9 or 16:10
Larvas that spawn during T2 boss fight (Nuppeppo) do not attack the player
Several new text strings awaiting translation
In order to access this preview, do this by going to your Steam library, right-click on the game, select properties, go to the betas tab, and enter the password labyrinth0preview0access. You will now be able to swap between branches. If you'd like to leave the preview and go back to the current main stable version of the game, do this by following the same procedure above, but on the betas tab, select "None" under beta participation.
