Over the past few months I've been working on a substantial update to the Knitewings™ demo, refining many aspects of the experience based on playtesting, community feedback and countless hours of iteration.

This new version introduces improvements across gameplay, visuals, audio and overall presentation.

Build Setup System

One of the biggest changes is the complete replacement of the old three-choice upgrade system.

Instead of repeatedly interrupting the action with upgrade selections, players now prepare their build before entering battle through a dedicated Build Setup screen.

The new system eliminates gameplay interruptions while preserving the dramatic level-up moments and visual feedback that make progression feel rewarding. The result is a smoother and more action-focused experience without sacrificing the excitement of becoming stronger during battle.

Improved Audio

The entire audio mix has been revisited.

Sound effects have been rebalanced, several effects have been replaced with higher-quality alternatives, and a dedicated SFX volume control has been added to the options menu, allowing independent adjustment of sound effects volume.

Enhanced Visual Presentation

A new post-processing pass has been introduced to improve contrast, color separation and overall image quality, helping Knitewings achieve a stronger anime-inspired visual style.

In addition, a brand-new VFX rendering pipeline has allowed the replacement and enhancement of most visual effects throughout the game, with significant improvements to many attacks and abilities, including several of Caronte's boss attacks.

More Responsive HUD

The user interface has been refined and made more responsive, improving readability and providing clearer feedback during combat.

Anime-Style Opening Sequence

The demo now features a completely new opening cinematic inspired by anime and manga productions, introducing players to the world and atmosphere of Knitewings before the action begins.

Technical Improvements

Several graphical issues affecting certain NVIDIA GeForce configurations have been resolved, improving compatibility and overall stability.

This update represents another important milestone in the development of Knitewings™, and I hope you'll enjoy experiencing the many improvements introduced since the previous demo version.

Thank you for your continued support and feedback.

See you in the skies,
