I remember being captivated by its beautiful and wonderful world, wanting to see what lay ahead.

The story, keywords like “Phoenix Kingdom” and “necromantic magic,” and the beautiful character illustrations and atmosphere all made me incredibly excited to see how the characters would develop... and what kind of ending they would reach. Especially with characters like Lord Tofaf, who have separate male and female forms... I'm really looking forward to seeing how that plays out as the story progresses!

僕の演じたレオンハルトですが、演じる前は、クールで威厳もあって、カッコ良い面もありつつも俺様な方なのかなあと感じていたのですが…演じた後は、カッコ良さもあり可愛さもあってギャップがすごくある方なんだなあと思いました。クールかと思ったら、好きな人には好きって言えそうな雰囲気ですし、パン作りが趣味で庶民的な一面もみせますけどそれには彼なりの目的もあるんです。それにはっきり善悪の区別をつけれるし、情報通で知識も豊富で、彼が国王と言われると納得できる方です。国王になったために可愛い悩みもあったりするんですけど…。

演技の方ですが、苦労したのはギャップの振り幅ですね。本当に別人かと思うほどに変わっちゃうので、でもレオンハルトはレオンハルトというか…そこはブレないように意識しながら演じました。演じれば演じるほど本当に魅力的な方なので彼の過去やもっともっと未来の彼についても知りたくなりました…！！

Question 2: Please tell us about your experience before and after portraying your character.

Before playing Leonhardt, I thought he was cool, dignified, and handsome, but maybe a bit arrogant... After playing him, I realized he's actually handsome and cute too—there's a huge gap there. You might think he's cool, but he has this vibe where he could tell someone he likes them. He has a down-to-earth side, like baking bread being his hobby, but even that has his own purpose. He clearly distinguishes right from wrong, is well-informed, and has a wealth of knowledge. When you hear he's the king, it makes perfect sense. Though becoming king did bring him some cute little worries...

As for the acting, the hardest part was the range of that gap. He changes so much you'd think he's a completely different person, but Leonhart is Leonhart... I consciously tried to keep that core consistent while playing him. The more I played him, the more I realized how truly fascinating he is, and I wanted to know more about his past and even more about his future...!!

ヴィルヘルムさんのことは、レオンハルトを担当させて頂いた身からすると…可愛いの一言ですね！

特にレオンハルトの絡むときの一場面のヴィルヘルムさんの反応はすごくかわいいかったです。反応が良いというか…いろんな面で真っすぐな方だと思っています。レオンハルトに告白されたらどんな反応なるのだろうと思ったり、色々と心配になります。
