First of all, thank you.

During Steam Next Fest, many of you took the time to play the demo for Kloa and share detailed feedback, impressions, and suggestions. We truly appreciate the time and care you put into helping us improve the game.

This update is not random. It is a direct response to what you told us.

We carefully reviewed your feedback and immediately began working on adjustments to improve the overall experience. Our goal is to make the demo smoother, more responsive, and more enjoyable while the festival is still live.

Here is what has changed based on your feedback:

Improvements and Changes

  • Smoother forward camera movement

  • Reduced charged attack loading time

  • Lowered upgrade costs so you can experiment with more builds during the demo

  • Improved parry responsiveness

  • Improved dash and attack responsiveness. Attacks are now faster and dash can be performed at any time

  • Enabled a low drop rate from destructible bushes

New Feature Added After Feedback

Kloa can now transition into a run after a dash.

This was a feature several of you asked about. We agreed it would improve the flow of movement, so we implemented it during the festival. The current version uses a temporary animation, and it will receive a dedicated and more polished animation after the demo.

We will continue monitoring your feedback and making adjustments where possible.

If you are enjoying the demo, leaving a review during Steam Next Fest helps us tremendously. And if you believe in what we are building, please consider adding Kloa to your wishlist. It makes a real difference for an indie team like ours.

Thank you for helping us shape Kloa.
