Attention, Exiles. The King has grown impatient with the idleness of his people. To earn your freedom and his mercy, you are invited to descend into The Well for a limited-time playtest of King’s Well.
From March 4th to March 11th, you can get your hands on our dark, Steampunk-themed Roguelite Deckbuilder. This isn't your average card game. This is industrial machine combat powered by high-stakes logic.
What to Expect in This Playtest:
Poker-Powered Combat: Use your cards not just for points, but as the literal "fuel" for visceral mechanical weapons.
The Machine Engine: Experiment with different "Machine Slots" like The Rusty Gun or The Splitter to manipulate your hand and maximize damage.
Poker Synergy: Form Full Houses, Flushes or the elusive Royal Flush to trigger massive bonuses and devastating ultimate attacks.
Tactical Roguelite Loops: Navigate a procedural map of rusted vertical labyrinths, battling robot sentries and upgrading your gear at rest areas. (This is a playtest version so it will be roguelike for now)
Atmospheric Horror: Immerse yourself in a world of leaking steam pipes, rusted copper gears and the oppressive hiss of hydraulics.
How to Participate:
Simply head over to our Steam Store Page from March 4th to March 11th and click join playtest without requesting access.
Your feedback is vital to helping us polish this "dirty industrial" experience before full release. Tell us what machines feel the grittiest and which bosses crushed your spirits the hardest.
