🧪 Playtest Details

📅 Date: Saturday, February 7th ⏰ Time: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (EST) 🖥️ OS Support: Windows, macOS, Linux

There is a new mobile version of the game, but this playtest won't include mobile.

The test will be relatively short and focused. The goal is to collect feedback, identify any rough edges, and make final adjustments before the game officially goes live again.

⚙️ What’s New in This Build?

This version represents a major technical and gameplay upgrade:

  • New Engine Runs on the same engine as the upcoming next-gen Kingdoms of Marazia game.

  • Updated & Improved UI Cleaner, clearer, and more readable.

  • Reduced Maintenance Systems Automated map generation and a new season system that handles monthly game cycles automatically

  • Massive Codebase Refactor Large-scale cleanup and restructuring for long-term stability. (Game is basically just a massive switch statement now)

  • Fog of War Added Exploration actually matters!

  • AI Factions Simple AI empires added to improve replayability, especially with low player counts.

  • Completely Rewritten Pathfinding & Combat Movement and battles should feel far more natural and fluid.

  • Major Performance Improvements Significant gains across the board (exact numbers still being tested).

This is your chance to stress-test the game, give feedback, and generally just help shape both Classic and the next Kingdoms title before it releases. Join us on discord: https://discord.gg/YteuMZwwFD Thanks for sticking around, and I’m really excited to finally have something to show.
