Since we unleashed King of the Castle on an unsuspecting public back in March, we’ve been overwhelmed and humbled by the response.

The streams, the massive public games, the enthusiasm from our Discord, the friendships made along the way (and in some cases, broken due to squabbling over a certain bear)… It’s been an extraordinary journey.

So first of all, a heartfelt thanks to all of you who have played. I can’t express how much everyone here at Tributary appreciates you - and we hope you had as good a time as we did!

But all journeys have to come to an end. Or, at least, to a point where you put up your feet and rest a while.

Although we’re happy with King of the Castle as it stands, we’d love to keep expanding it forever. But for various reasons, this simply isn’t feasible, so there won’t be any more major updates.

That being said, there will be occasional small updates in the future… Just don’t expect massive new features or game-changing mechanics. We will, of course, continue to fix bugs and provide support.

We love you all, our amazing fans. Thanks for everything. Making games is what we do at Tributary and we hope you’re excited for what's next - the second we have something to share, we’ll let you know!
