Greeting Nobles,

Swap your swords for poison tipped umbrellas and council robes for suits, it's time to go Over the Alps!

Before we were at Tributary, Sam, Harry and Nick all worked at Stave Studios on a game called Over the Alps.

That studio sadly folded so we as Tributary have stepped in as custodians to make sure the game didn't disappear!

It's an award-winning choices-matter spy thriller set in 1939 Switzerland. You play as a secret agents, whose only line home is a postcard written in invisible ink.

The first story, A Case Of The Chateau Vercoli, was written by narrative royalty Jon Ingold (80 Days, Heaven's Vault) and the second, The King of the Mountain, by Tributary's resident storyteller supreme Harry Tuffs.

Charm, deceive or strong-arm your way across the Alps in a branching story with over 100k words for each of the supported 15 languages, with more than 2,600 choices that can lead to multiple endings.

It's the kind of superb writing and story design you'd expect from the King of the Castle team, and right now it's the cheapest it's ever been with a price drop.

In fact, we've gone a step further - If you're reading this close to re-launch it's 50% off until the 9th of July!

Go check it out here:

Over the Alps If you're a fan of the studio and want us to make more games like King of the Castle, the best way you can support us is to buy a copy.

We're a small studio and so every penny from a sale goes to straight back into development.

Plus, you get a great game to play while supporting your local indie!

One last thing. The story was always meant to have a third and final chapter - The Devil's Quill. It never shipped, so we rebuilt it, and it's free to play in your browser right now.

If you're unsure about playing OTA, why not give it a go? It's 41,000 words of never before seen Harry Tuffs narrative genius for free.

Play The Devil's Quill on itch.io here!

Thanks for reading and for your support over the years.

If you haven't yet joined the Discord do hop on. Someone made Prince Glorb in Tomodachi Life because of course they did.

Don't forget to sign up to our "What's Next" email list too, and my personal thanks for being better fans than any indie deserves.

Til next time!

Sam
