changedI have a bunch of plans for how coaches will work in and out of the game, but for the demo I'm working on their ability to challenge calls during the game. That feature is coming together now and I'll definitely share it in the future when it's fully working!

I plan on releasing a demo early next year, I'm just not sure whether it will be part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest or have to come out at some point after. There's still a lot work left so right now I'm heads down trying to get all the critical parts of the demo stood up and in the game.

I joked about it in the video but first impressions are really important, especially when there are a bunch of other shiny things to play with at the same time, so getting things right is ultimately more important than rushing things to make what's otherwise an arbitrary deadline. One way or another, at some point this year you'll be able to get your hands on the game!

Since I'm on vacation from work I'm able to (finally) devote all my time to the game right and things are moving fast! Over the last week I've got coaches and referees into the game, the art is temp and the coaches just kinda stand around but the refs are fully animated and call the game correctly!
