Hello!
We are SnakeEagle, a team currently developing a game. We hope you all had a great May!
Today, we’d like to share our May devlog, which includes updates on Stage 3. In this devlog, we talk about things such as the main mechanic of the stage.
*This devlog contains information about Stage 3, which is currently in development. As the content is still in development, it may be subject to change.
We have done our best to avoid spoilers, but if you would like to experience the stage completely fresh, please keep this in mind before reading.
Please feel free to leave any questions you may have!
Stage Main Mechanic
We want to keep the actions of the protagonist, Yonah, simple and straightforward all the way to the end. This is because the game has a rather intimidating system called “Hard Reset,” and we want players to be able to quickly regain their feel for the controls whenever they come back and try again. However, we are also aware that if every stage offers the exact same experience throughout the game, players may lose interest rather quickly. That is why we try to keep things fresh by adding a “main mechanic” to each stage. For example, Stage 1 has “water,” while Stage 2 has “conveyor belts.”
The main mechanic of Stage 3, which is currently in development, is “portals.”
Two portals of the same color are connected to each other, and objects such as the player, enemies, and bullets can pass through them.
We are also sharing a video showing some of the tests we have been working on! (*Please note that this footage is still from a work-in-progress build.)
Concept Shots
In addition to working through the gameplay side of things, we are also continuing to develop the story, boss fights, and other elements.

We are always thinking about what kind of story we can tell through “Bartleby” and “Yonah,” and what kind of visuals and direction could deliver a powerful, breathtaking moment to players.
Updates to Existing Stages
We are also continuing to make balance updates to the content up through Stage 2.
This time, our main goal was to clearly lower the difficulty of Easy and Normal, while preserving the overall experience.
view We would be very grateful to hear more of your thoughts and feedback.
Every single review and piece of feedback from you is a huge source of encouragement and help for us.
Event Participation: PlayX4

Here are some photos from our participation in PlayX4, which took place from May 21 to May 24, 2026. It was a pleasure to meet everyone who visited us!
Although it was physically exhausting, as always, we received a great deal of encouragement and were able to recharge our motivation for development.
If we have the opportunity again, we would love to take part in more events in the future!
Closing
As always, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who participated in the funding campaign, everyone who purchased the Early Access version, and everyone who continues to follow this game with interest!
Thanks to all of you, I am able to put food on the table each day and continue making this game with joy :)
I will do my very best not to waste these precious moments.
Our goal is to release the Stage 3 update sometime within September of this year.
If anything unexpected comes up, we will let you know as soon as possible. We will continue thinking carefully about the game until the very end, and keep building it step by step.
Thank you, as always!
