This update focuses on gameplay polish, balance tuning and bug fixes for our February 2025 Next Fest Demo.
We'll have an additional hotfix update later in the week for our known issues, additional polish and adjustments based on player feedback from next fest.

Major Changes
- REBALANCERetuned enemy spawns, Adjusted beat sync, Decreased the “Perfect” beat window and Decreased some Inspiration Costs.
- STATS PAGEAdded a stats page to Round Start so players can keep track of their current active Round Start reward stats.
- ABSURDITYAdded a simple explanation to Absurdity Levels on mouse hover or setting change.
SOLO DOUBLE TIME: Set Solo Double Time to be guaranteed on Song 1 Upgrade Options with its rarity going up significantly with every subsequent Song that run.
- INSPIRATION REFUNDSAdded prompt in Inspiration Menu to refund meta-upgrades for better control of player difficulty.
Changes
Changed combo shield from grey to white for better clarity.
Set Absurdity “LVL” text to black to draw more attention to it.
Increased dodge invul window slightly.
Set Boss hurt SFX to be slightly quieter
Set shockwave enemy “warning” circle to be grey instead of red for consistency with laser enemy.
Slightly decreased meter gain during Solo.
Bug Fixes
Fixed issue where fragment value in Main Menu would not correctly update after buying/refunding fragments in Inspiration Menu.
Fixed issue where “Miss” can still be triggered and end combos with off-beat Solo triggers.
Fixed issue with off-center control prompt icons.
Fixed issue where tutorial round start difficulty “Easy” would display an estimated enemy count of “10+” but the actual value was “30+”.
Fixed issue where solo prompt can be covered by the Beat Hit FX during the tutorial freeze.
Fixed issue where for longer rounds, BGM Song will sometimes not loop.
Fixed issue where players can get a freeze if they click outside of the continue bar after a successful run end.
Fixed issue where triggering “Deal” on a new instrument will have no function.
Fixed issue where the Pause Hint Menu was not navigable through mouse clicks.
Fixed issue where Quick Retry would sometimes keep starting instrument as the kept upgrade when other upgrades were available.
Fixed issue where player could access Settings Menu while in the Inspiration UI with quick clicks during menu start up.
Known Issues
Keyboard char condition says +50% to Beat DMG but stats page will display +200% Beat DMG.
Triggering Round Start Help can make stats prompt be invisible until stats is pressed prompt is pressed (only occurs on gamepad).
Enemies can spawn on stage and get stuck.
Vortex Bass Upgrade is functioning incorrectly add only generating vortexes on Solo (should be on every active beat hit).
Some slight beat desync for rounds longer than 2+ Mins or 3 Song Loops.
Getting a -1 Sec bonus on kill as timer reaches 0 can cause it to reset.
Quick Retry shows correct ghost portrait but defaults to Roxie Guitar for end part instead of actual starting instrument.
Guitar beam can trigger even when guitar is not the active instrument
