I've worked on the game some more, here's what is updated.

Bugfixes:

  • Particle effects are now pre-loaded, so there should be no more frame drops when effects happen for the first time during gameplay.

Polishes:

  • Changed the Tutorial cutscene with the Demon. I've moved him to a more obvious location, above the machine he breaks. I also added some spark effects to indicate this. This should make things more clear to players,

  • Made machine malfunction smoke a little bit more obvious by making it lighter as particles fade out,

  • Added more resolution presets, for higher resolutions and widescreen,

  • Added drop package animation to the Boss in the Deliveries section of the game.

Experimental Xbox & PlayStation controller support:

I've added basic controller support, although the game is really designed to be played with a mouse. But for the sake of accessibility and giving players options I felt it was good to implement this regardless. The menus should all work as well as movement, looking around and interactions.

Since I only have an old Xbox 360 controller here for testing, I've marked this feature as 'experimental' until I've gotten more feedback from players and testers.
