🚀 EA Update II: “ATTENTION IS ALL YOU NEED”
Followers of Kebabstar! Early access Update II is live and it brings the sharpest tools in the kitchen: a brand-new KebabSeek AI companion in the game, a jump to Unreal Engine 5.7, and a full pass on stability, controls, and flow. Sharpen your skewers and guns! Here’s what’s on the menu:
🤖 KebabSeek – Basic AI Agent Representation
Talk to the main-menu with our main character AI powered by DeepSeek; ask for tips, lore, or the perfect döner rotation answers are instant.
⚙️ Engine & performance
Migrated to UE 5.7: lower memory footprint, faster graphics, higher average frame-rate on mid-tier GPUs.
Rewrote locomotion graph: acceleration & deceleration curves are now frame-independent, giving silk-smooth movement across all refresh rates.
🎮 Gameplay & Systems
Save system rebuilt from Chapter 1 to Chapter 12.
“Last 10 seconds” notifier appears above every customer; missed tickets should be history.
Tutorial completely re-scripted: shorter, clearer, no unskippable waits.
🔧 Bug fixes & Polish
Fixed Sena’s dialogue gate in Level 4—conversation triggers reliably.
Widened interaction capsules in Chapter 4 to eliminate “Talk through the counter” collision edge-cases.
Goldman’s internal timer reset on order hand-off; no more infinite waiting loops.
Minor audio desyncs, missing ingredient icons, and two soft-locks squashed.
Thanks for the mountains of feedback. Season the next build with your reviews, bug reports, and wildest feature ideas. We’re reading every ticket. And we will produce a 3D representation of our character in game, and probably new cinematics included our character in Chapter 12-13.
We will integrate dynamic our AI Agent characters in short term and will throw a case and they will be automated in long term (AI Agent Customers, AI Agent Chefs). What you have seen in the last 1 years while developing this game and everything right now will remain very simple. Best Regards,
