addedSince then, and our consequential move to Singapore that we orchestrated, we are back in good swing and growing rapidly with multiple new releases across tabletop games and video games. However, our focus is not Steam for those.
addedThis update will be such a large one that it will be shipped as a new game, and it will definitely come to Steam. However, in consultation with Valve, we have been told that they can gift the game at launch to anyone who has bought this game before that launch day.
addedWhat this means, is that though this game will not be updated with the new build - you will get the new build (the second game) added to your library for free if you already own this by the time the second one launches.

As I have mentioned before, WRKS Games was going through trying times while we were finalizing and releasing Shinobi Rising. The result of this were that the game did not meet our ambition for this and also did not land well with players. I have always felt that the situation low balled what this could have been and wanted to wait for a time to figure out how to respond to it.

After much pondering on what to do and a follow up discussion with Valve, the plan is now to forge ahead with Shinobi Rising 2 (name not yet confirmed). We are going to up the budget and the ambition and do a real co-op and single player version of this game the way it was once meant to be.

This update will be such a large one that it will be shipped as a new game, and it will definitely come to Steam. However, in consultation with Valve, we have been told that they can gift the game at launch to anyone who has bought this game before that launch day.

Only very few people that bought this game refunded it. I appreciate that loyalty and I hope this gesture adequately fulfills a proportional response to that good will.
