Oh, hello. Thanks for checking out our cult game. We were going to write "thanks for joining us" but that felt like a lame way to start off a relationship.

changedMostly, we just like making games.JOIN US will be launching on PC. We decided to lean heavily into the PC launch because we want to ensure that the build is rock solid, especially when it comes to the co-op experience and optimization. Also, J OIN US has a crazy narrative campaign that complements the survival/sandbox experience and we want that to shine.

Oh, hello. Thanks for checking out our cult game.

We were going to write "thanks for joining us" but that felt like a lame way to start off a relationship.

If you’ve made it this far, you probably already know about JOIN US. If you don’t, it’s confusing why you’re reading this – but long story short, we’re making a game where you build a doomsday cult of your very own! It’s a lot of fun and we’re excited to get it out the door in 2026.

Wolf Haus Games is a small team of 10 full-time employees and 4 contractors. We’re based in Montreal. Our backgrounds cover gaming and movies. Members of our team have worked on franchises like Assassin’s Creed, Batman Arkham, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six, among a ton of others.

Mostly, we just like making games.

Our goal for the studio is to make the games that we would want to play.

Or, as it says on the website, “We make the games that we wanted to play when we were 13, because now we’re grownups and no one can tell us what to do.” It’s worth noting that when we were 13 we played a lot of Postal and Carmageddon.

We decided to lean heavily into the PC launch because we want to ensure that the build is rock solid, especially when it comes to the co-op experience and optimization. Also, J OIN US has a crazy narrative campaign that complements the survival/sandbox experience and we want that to shine.

Steam post image Here's one of the oldest existing stills from the Mac UE 4.7 version of the game when it was a solo dev project circa 2022.

Steam post image Here’s a newer and much less bad still in the same spot from this morning.

The game has been under wraps for a long time and it’s a project that everyone on the team is having a great time building. We’ll keep going nuts with this thing and then hand it off to all of you!

Our team will use Steam community forums to communicate updates and cool new content, in addition to our other socials.

We’ll try to answer questions as they pop up! Everyone responding on here is a developer, so if we take a minute to get back, it’s probably because we’re working on making sure you can shoot a flamethrower while riding a pig without lighting the pig on fire or something dumb like that.

Discord channels are coming soon as well!
