Jack the Ripper: Hunter Clan changes
Minor Additions
Softened the outline of the fog-of-war (vision blocker) effect
Added a ping effect to corpse-pile markers on the minimap for better visibility
Player-death UI now warns that all gear and consumables are lost on death
Added a Credits button to the lobby’s Settings tab
Tutorial minigame intro dialogue is skipped from the second playthrough onward
Placed a leaderboard board at the tutorial minigame’s finish point
Optimized performance of the tutorial stage
Enriched the Whitechapel stage with additional details
- Win/MacReduced crosshair input latency
Win/Mac: The exit popup can now be closed with the ESC key
Win/Mac: NPC dialogue can now be advanced with Space, Enter, or F keys
Bug Fixes
Fixed citizens colliding and becoming mutually stuck
Fixed the hit-flash effect not playing on the final strike
Corrected subtitles and line breaks where projector film audio and captions were out of sync
Fixed weapon aim direction becoming unnatural at the start/end of event dialogue and immediately after entering Whitechapel
Fixed character colors appearing brighter than intended
Fixed the tutorial door-opening sound playing even when sound effects are disabled
Fixed being able to change weapons via the UI after the player dies
