Update 0.996.6 – Patch Notes
Gameplay Changes
Difficulty progression update: Players must now complete Normal mode to unlock It's John's House difficulty.
Hidden achievements added: Discover secrets and earn extra rewards by completing certain challenges.
- Key item markersSmall visual indicators have been added above important items to make them easier to locate without breaking immersion.
- Lighting improvementsExtra lights added in multiple rooms to enhance atmosphere and clarity, especially in darker areas.
Bug Fixes & Stability
- Major loading crash resolvedThe previous crash occurring at the loading screen has been fixed.
Dialog and radio fixes: Overlapping triggers no longer cause dialogs or radio clips to play incorrectly.
Other minor bug fixes: General fixes to prevent unexpected behaviours in interactive objects and room events.
Performance Improvements
Optimized large textures and memory usage to prevent stuttering and slowdowns.
General performance improvements across all scenes for smoother gameplay.
Reduced unnecessary Addressable loading for faster scene streaming.
