addedStore WeightingThe in-game store has been updated to incorporate the new rarity system. Unit appearance rates are now weighted according to their type, meaning Rare units will appear less frequently than Uncommon and, in turn, less than Common units. New Feature: Unit Rarity System

This is a change to how units are categorized and acquired. Units are now assigned a rarity, which reflects their power and, as such, how frequently they will appear in the store.

The full rarity tiers are:

  • Common

  • Uncommon

  • Rare

  • Epic (Coming soon!)

  • Legendary (Coming soon!)

Store Weighting

The in-game store has been updated to incorporate the new rarity system. Unit appearance rates are now weighted according to their type, meaning Rare units will appear less frequently than Uncommon and, in turn, less than Common units. This is the first step in creating a more engaging and balanced unit acquisition experience.

Existing Unit Rarity Mapping

All existing units have been assigned a rarity to fit into the new system:

  • Villagers have been assigned Common rarity.

  • Guards have been assigned Uncommon rarity.

Their base stats remain unchanged, but their appearance rate in the store will now reflect their assigned rarity.

New Units: The rare breed

I am excited to introduce three powerful new units, all joining the roster at the Rare tier! These are stronger units which will add more depth into how you are able to approach challenges and compose your army.

Knight

An upgrade to the sword wielding guard, with the highest health currently in the game, faster max speed and a faster, harder-hitting attack. This is a great choice as the frontline of your army.

Bowman

The Bowman has increased range, fire rate, health and damage than the base Archer. This unit will rain damage from the back line and be a good follow-up to a strong front line.

Great Swordsman

With his massive sword, the Swordsman is the first player unit to have an AoE attack. While his attacks may not be as fast as the others in his tier, he makes quick work of groups of foes.
