changedUI functionalityUI is a big area that we have not worked on at all until just a few weeks ago. At this point we have a very ugly but almost fully functional UI consisting of the menu, main menu and the inventory. As we have no previous experience with it the first milestone was to define the required components and get them to function the way they are supposed to. At least to some extent. The next step is to design the user interface and fine tune the user experience.
addedVisual appearance of the gameFor this one we are really happy ːsteamhappyː. We knew it had to be done for a while but only got around to doing it in the past few weeks. The game felt a bit cold, empty and flat. The biggest step was to add variety to the terrain textures. All grass surfaces are now covered with 3 different textures that are applied according to a noise texture. Additionally we've modeled some extra versions of bushes and other plants and added some vegetation and life to the map in general. Some extra geography also helped make the environment feel more diverse.

Hi all!
In beginning of April we've set up the Steam page so in the past month quite some time was dedicated to fine tuning the content and letting people on social media know we exist (screaming into the void much? :D). Regarding the development there are two things we would like to share with you.
UI functionality
UI is a big area that we have not worked on at all until just a few weeks ago. At this point we have a very ugly but almost fully functional UI consisting of the menu, main menu and the inventory. As we have no previous experience with it the first milestone was to define the required components and get them to function the way they are supposed to. At least to some extent. The next step is to design the user interface and fine tune the user experience.
Visual appearance of the game
For this one we are really happy ːsteamhappyː.

We think it looks way better now and are happy with the progress. We'll continue with the fine tuning of the visual appearance of the game in the next months.
