Hi, it's ya boi, Calvin Karubin!
We've updated the demo and put it back up!
The demo now allows you to play the game up until the Naughty Kitten Forest.
This includes being able to rescue Cat Villagers and rebuilding their houses!
Not only that, you can carry over your save data from the demo into the full game!
Hope this delivers an improved demo experience for you all!
What's next?
We've managed to nail most of the existing bugs as far as we know.
If anyone discovers any more, let us know, and we'll jump on it ASAP!
The next two things on our to-do lists are:
Make the BGMs loop seamlessly
Localize the game in other languages
Yep, currently the BGMs loop by playing the whole song instead of... y'know, looping at a point where you can't tell when it starts and ends so that it doesn't distract you when it ends suddenly.
There's a fair amount of work to get it done, including listening for the precise point where the song matches a certain other part of the song, sound editing and coding.
And localizing needs me to find some experts in other languages who can translate our kooky jokes in their language without losing the subtlety. That'll take a while.
But uh, I might be taking my time to work on these.
Just want to catch a short little break after working tirelessly on Isekat for the past year. Just a bit.
