MESSAGE INCOMING FROM IRONFRONT INDUSTRIES

postmark--06.11.2026

Conductors,

Thank you for playing the Ironfront Express demo. We just broke 1,000 players, and with that, we wanted to bring in fixes that you have reported so that the experience is more polished and, above all, fun.

Changes below:

  • Ironfront Industries has successfully tweaked and improved the difficulty of the game. We have implemented two difficulties (Standard and Engineer), with Engineer being closer to the original, intended gameplay. We have also made the Standard difficulty a tad more forgiving. Note: Engineer difficulty gives bonus XP.

  • Active reload improvements.

  • Fixed environment biases (The player will be able to rotate level environments better).

  • Removed a bug where turret placement UI buttons needed two clicks.

  • Added “hold to upgrade” prompts for improved UX.

  • Added a warning if the player attempts to leave without installing modules (if the player has space to install).

  • Fixed a bug where the active reload tutorial video does not show up.

  • Added a tutorial video to show dismantling and scrap refunds.

  • Fixed an audio issue with the Charger boss playing the wrong crash SFX.

  • Tuned down the Phalanx as it’s a bit overtuned.

As you play the demo, please report any feedback via our Discord or in Steam Discussions.

Please keep feedback coming, and we thank you for traversing and gathering.
