It's nearly Valentine's Day, but we just couldn't wait. To help spark new connections and reignite heated rivalries, we're adding a Mission Log to Intruder, which is 50% off during Steam PvP Fest 2026. From February 9-16 @ 10am PT you'll also earn 200% XP -- because XP is just like love: You always deserve more.
Valentine's Day seasonal skins are also unlockable during PvP Fest event, and we're introducing some upgrades to the spectator experience. Let's dig in -- together.
Mission Log & Spectator Enhancements
We've added a Mission Log to improve players' awareness of important match events. The Mission Log feed displays important information for you and any spectators throughout the match.
While you're alive, the Mission Log will display messages like weapons and gadgets you're picking up or bodies you're checking (just like the game did before but now at the top of your screen).
When you die, the Mission Log indicates who killed you, the weapon they used to do it, and their distance from you at takedown time. Spectators can see the live feed for both teams, including Hack alerts when Intruders successfully claim a computer.
You can not see player kills, package pickups or network hacks inside the mission log when alive.
This is an example of what spectators see:
What you'll see while alive:
Weapons and items you picked up
Death & arrest states of checked bodies
Mission start times
Certain activator events
What you'll see while dead or spectating:
How you died, whether by weapon, explosion, helicopter, fall, or drowning
Kills & deaths
Arrests
Briefcase pick ups, drops, and captures
Network hacks
On top of our new Mission Log, there's a Spectator-only objective tracker for Hack progress, giving viewers real-time info about the objectives -- which terminals are being hacked, which are completed, and how many Intruders need to win the match.
Here's another example of the new spectators view:
We've also updated the objective icons during spectating to show more active information about the match and mission.
The briefcase and drop-off goal points get new icons and the hacks nodes and networks will now update to show their state, whether on stand-by, currently being hacked, or if the network was completely hacked.
You can also view the live feed of Bloon Cameras being controlled by the player you're 3rd-person spectating in the top right corner of your screen. This picture-in-picture gives viewers a more complete look at each round's most important moments instead of watching a motionless player.
So far we have found these spectator enhancement to be super fun and really help follow what's going on in the match. Let us know what other spectator information you'd like to see because we will definitely be adding more.
Valentine Seasonal Skins
Steam PvP Fest crosses over with the saucy season, so from now until February 16, you have a chance to unlock exclusive Valentine's Day-themed weapons skins. Don't wait, though -- when the event ends, these cosmetics might disappear before you had a chance to try, leaving you to wonder what might have been...

New Unlockables
While Mads and Random Person provided the seasonal skins, Sourbabyraysbbq, another community member of ours, created three new patterns that we've turned into unlocks for this
