addedRemote SpeakerWe're introducing a new gadget to Intruder: the Remote Speaker.
changedRemote SpeakerGuards and Intruders can deploy this device to any surface and trigger the sound of gunfire, grenade impacts and shattered glass. Simply set your Remote Speaker in your desired location and use it to trigger any of the available sounds. Enemies in range may find themselves distracted, disoriented, or distressed -- giving your team the opportunity to sneak or strike! The sounds played by the speaker are exactly the same as the real ones, making it impossible to tell real from fake if used properly.
addedOverhauled Item Descriptions SystemA new item descriptions system has been created which shows much more detailed info about each item in your inventory, including all the different types of damage, controls, and different use cases. The added scroll bar allows more info to be displayed per item as well. Check it out!

Remote Speaker

We're introducing a new gadget to Intruder: the Remote Speaker.

Guards and Intruders can deploy this device to any surface and trigger the sound of gunfire, grenade impacts and shattered glass. Simply set your Remote Speaker in your desired location and use it to trigger any of the available sounds. Enemies in range may find themselves distracted, disoriented, or distressed -- giving your team the opportunity to sneak or strike! The sounds played by the speaker are exactly the same as the real ones, making it impossible to tell real from fake if used properly.

The Remote Speaker has limited charges, so use it judiciously.

We're eager to see how teams lure opponents to their doom or make clutch escapes while the enemy investigates a shooter that was never there. Be sure to join the Superboss Games Discord to share your feedback and highlight clips!

Overhauled Item Descriptions System

A new item descriptions system has been created which shows much more detailed info about each item in your inventory, including all the different types of damage, controls, and different use cases. The added scroll bar allows more info to be displayed per item as well. Check it out!

Fall Damage

Jumping (or falling) from high ledges now comes with the added danger of hurting your Guard or Intruder. If you impact the ground hard enough to crack the bones in your knees and ragdoll, you'll take damage. The higher you fall from, the more your landing might hurt -- or even kill you.

Be careful as you leap from ledges. It's a viable strategy, but you'll need to calculate the risk of endangering your operative against finding another way down.

Improvements & Fixes

We've also made some smaller fixes

  • You can now use items like the Laser Sensor while on ladders and vines

  • Improved the Dragon reticle art and reduced it's size so it's easier to use at range

  • Fixed camera sometimes turning backwards on crazy explosions

  • Fixed shield pickup collider still being there after pick up sometimes

  • Fixed shield spawn point sometimes moving on custom maps

  • Fixed Dragon sometimes poking/firing through walls when prone

  • Fixed Dragon not having the "Focus Zoom" tool tip

  • Another attempted fix at chair desync upon entering a match and related FPS problems

  • Multiple Riverside fixes

DiD yOu KnOw ThAt!? The Remote Speaker also flashes an imitation muzzle flash with different sound selections
