addedHello testers new and old!
addedBig day for Into the Wild today! For those of you who didn't notice, Into the Wild was publicly revealed! This has brought new testers into the project, so for those of you who joined recently, welcome! Any new people can skip over these patch notes, as version 0.3.3 will be your first experience of the game
removedFor those who have been testing for a while, this update should fix one of the longest running and most frustrating problems of Into the Wild. Version 0.3.3 introduces random spawn locations! This means that no longer will you have to walk through the ice canyon for 5-10 minutes to go and do something interesting (at least most of the time, it is still a potential spawn location). The reason why it is still a potential spawn location is because it does offer access to the most powerful item in the game at a very early point in a playthrough, and I hope that this item will be enough so that you all still take the trip onto the ice to go and grab it at some point each playthrough
changedApart from this, there have been some general quality of life changes as well. Most notably among these are having overhauled how the game loads the players position, which was done mostly in order to enable a random spawn system to work, but has a knock on result of making the game MUCH more reliable at correctly loading your save data. This update also introduces the ability to change certain settings after you have already started the game rather than having to adjust settings from the main menu
addedHave fun with the new spawn locations, and enjoy the new library artwork that comes with the game’s store page now being public!

Apart from that, this update mostly just fixes some of the more major and game breaking bugs that have been reported to me, most notably it should (hopefully) fix the ever present and extremely frustrating item duplication bug that would fill up players inventories with duplicates of the same item

Have fun with the new spawn locations, and enjoy the new library artwork that comes with the game’s store page now being public!
